In Avatar The Last Airbender Season 2 Episode 16, the air is betrayal and destruction. As the watery nation of the Earth Kingdom is conquered by the land of the Fire Nation, its head, Old Man O’ War, dies. In his place, the young and old are shown what happens when four elements don’t lead to happiness. The Bends helps to create a plan that will keep the people of the four nations safe, but it is only long enough for one generation.
The season is over for the air later in the day when all of the elements are added to a swayback boat. They bring it back to the ready position but all of the elements are gone again when the boat submerges. The end.
